Building constructed in 1885, shortly after the extension of the Boulevard Saint-Germain. The restaurant, a Bouillon Chartier, opened on the ground floor in 1902, was later taken over by Rougeot, who sold it in 1920 to Mr Vagenende. Notable for the quality of its Art Nouveau decor, dating from its creation.
